Terry and Mary Lacoss have operated Amelia Angler Outfitters store and charter business since 1978! Through the years Amelia Angler Outfitters has grown into a family business with daughters, Mary Lee Forehand, Lisa Mills and son Terry David Lacoss operating the business as well.

Amelia Angler Outfitters is conveniently located at 111 Centre St., just across the street from the Fernandina Harbor Marina. Visitors will find a full line of outdoor wear, hats, sunglasses, fly and light fishing tackle. The "Angler" also rents out surf fishing tackle and sells bait as well.

Captain Terry Lacoss also conducts a unique fishing school directed for those fishermen that would like to learn more about our local bay, beach and inlet fishing waters. A power point presentation showcases many of Captain Lacoss' tournament winning fishing techniques. During the last hour of the school, guests will experience an educational boat ride on a brand new Mercury powered 24-foot Triton Bay boat. Here students will learn navigation techniques, how to use the fish finder when locating those hard to find fishing holes, how to anchor properly with both the boat's "Power Pole", push pole and anchor, how live well systems work, safety gear and learn the mechanical operation of the Mercury outboard and Triton bay boat.
