Terry and Mary Lacoss have operated the Amelia Angler beach and charter store since 1978! Through the years, the Amelia Angler has grown into a family business with daughters, Mary Lee Forehand and Lisa Mills operating the business as well.

The Amelia Angler is conveniently located at the Amelia Inn and Beach Club. Here, Amelia Island Plantation guests and property owners will find a full line of beach supplies, toys, swim wear, men's and lady's resort wear, gift items, suntan products, post cards, books, magazines and much more.

Trophy game fish mounts are also on display at the Amelia Angler, including a 110-lb. wahoo, world record brown trout and largemouth bass weighing over 20-pounds!

Visitors will also find a full line of fishing tackle, bait, fishing licenses and both salt and freshwater rod rentals at the Amelia Angler. We also have crab bait and equipment for family crabbing fun at Walker's Landing. Fly rod rentals are also available! Terry Lacoss and staff will also direct you to the best fishing on the property with maps.

The Amelia Angler Staff will also assist in booking your fishing, sailing or sightseeing charter as well. All charters and merchandise can be charged to your AIP room charge, member account, or credit card.
